l wasn’t always like this…
I was born on a bright, sunny day in May…
Kidding! Don’t worry…I won’t start that far back.
Here’s a couple of tidbits you should know about me:
Numero Uno
I am primarily an extrovert with some strong introvert tendencies as I age…which simply means I need fun times to express my crazy-ass self and I also need quiet times to recharge my batteries.
Numero Dos
I’ve always been the fixer, the buffer, the mediator, the negotiator, the servant leader, the caregiver, and the best dang cheerleader...for others. But, I forgot to pass along some of that love I needed most in this world to little ole me.
Then one day…I just decided to do something different…and changed things. Nothing fancy. Nothing earthshattering. Just made some different choices one by one.
Now I can finally look back and embrace my winding journey and understand why it was never a straight road (more like a broken bridge at times so I needed to learn how to actually sprout wings and fly…) Now, I looooooove me some me, know what I mean?
I needed to walk through all of these things…
- changing careers (#scary)
- moving to new places (#stressful)
- starting my own companies (#overwhelming)
- meeting new people (okay, this one has been mostly fun!)
All of this was necessary to strengthen my resolve and resilience, develop my skills and sharpen my tools, find out who I am and what I’m made of.
All of this was necessary so I could begin choosing me and living the best possible life!
